WHAT IS THIS?

I don’t imagine my future first boyfriend to be the most handsome guy in the sea, but hopefully he is intellectual with an extremely awesome personality. I mostly want someone that I can always talk to…

I do not know if anybody else has recognized this, but as I have been using sources such as artwork from the Renaissance Era to the movies of the twentieth century, I noticed that each era has an iconic face. However, the appearances of women have evolved greatly throughout the past few centuries, and looking at the metamorphosis of the woman’s face triggers my desire to pursue in philosophy. The devolution of appearances in both genders fascinates me. It makes me wonder about the creation of human beings since one’s physical features depend on his/her genetics. I would postulate that many of the families have died out to the point where the genes can no longer be inherited due to the fact that the family members have passed away. But honestly, I do not see much beauty in the human race anymore. All of the material that I have learned this year in school leads me to the conclusion that humans should not have lived for this long. Industrial advances such as machinery and electronic devices (as well as developments in medical care) have perpetuated our lives. Although the devolution of beauty does not directly associate with these advances, it could possibly explain how the human race is gradually becoming less special. Our society is becoming less educated as a whole. Furthermore, most of our lives revolve around these advances. The beauty of art has stayed relatively constant throughout the centuries; nevertheless, it has drifted away from human portraits. Traveling to Europe and seeing pieces of art from the Renaissance Era, and envisioning the transformation in art by visiting the graphic design museum in Barcelona has also helped me come to this conclusion. Beauty has become a superficial plastic that has molded into a completely different form.

note: most people would think that i’m delusional for thinking this, but it has been on my mind for years, and i have never been competent to put these thoughts into words that could be easily understood. i know my writing is a bit out of place, but i really needed to get my thoughts out…

Also, just letting you all know, this is not necessarily a fact. It’s just my opinion.
